Disinterested nurses

When nurses get to the point that a patient request is an interruption and is keeping them from shopping on the internet, then I believe it is time  for them to find a new job or just stay home and shop in privacy.  These nurses are angry at any request from peers as well.  They know their attitude is poor, and they are not concerned about it or the security of their position.  They can poison others around them and change the atmosphere of the group from a friendly, compassionate group to a short tempered and unconcerned group.

Those of us that do care, need to step up and talk with these nurses, reflect with them on how they appear to others and ask them to take a closer look at why they are nurses and maybe it is time for a change.  Leadership must also support those of us that are willing to step in to address this issue before it infects more of the staff.
